I'm surprised the government didn't come and take it away for neglect. I won't give any promises, but I'll try and update more in the future.

It seems like a lot of things have changed on the site over the last year. Especially...me. I don't do as much as I'd like to do for the site, so I feel rather...selfish always looking and never doing. I suppose there's a lot of contributing factors to it. Still, to not do anything for the forum just isn't right to me. I know I can do more and that I really should, especially in the writing or morphing areas, depending on which one people would want to see more.

I suppose this isn't much of an update for being a year since my previous post...but an update nonetheless.

TheMM's Thoughts On: The 'Site'

First off, I'll begin with saying that I love the site and never want to leave it unless something truly bad happened. That doesn't mean it is without its share of problems I've noticed since I've joined.

1. It's rather limited in what is posted. I've seen a lot of threads go up, merely to be shut down from lack of interest. And I know that a lot of threads receive plenty of views, but views don't mean jack squat if no one else posts. Remember, views are only just a number, nothing more.

2. It's touchy. Now yes, I do know that this is the internet and occasionally messages come across wrong, it happens. However, it seems like in some cases, one person (seemingly on) purpose reacts to how another posts in a negative manner. Sometimes it is truly a misunderstanding, but in other cases, it's a major conflict of opinion, and neither member will back down.

3. Me. Don't start sayin that ain't true folks, because it is. You know it, I know, everyone else knows, at least to a limited degree. I truly bet there isn't a single post of mine that hasn't bugged at least one person. I honestly try and be modest about everything, as well as very carefully wording my posts when I make jokes/puns/references/etc; it doesn't allows work as you all know. I may be a goof folks, but I have a lot to think about before I make a post. I have to say it isn't truly as easy as it seems to be (and I don't say that to get pity from anyone). I have to remember I'm dealing with people from all over the world, some of whom aren't familar with "Western" customs and popular things. I also take into consideration other common viewpoints people have, like religious views and politics. Honestly, if you were to look through all of my posts, you would not see one "definite" joke about a religion, among other things people highly believe in. I also almost never post negatively about anything, aka, 'posting just to say I don't like it.' I see that fairly often.

4. Some lack of net etiquette. I notice people aren't exactly following the "rules" all the time. Mostly in two cases. One, people requesting, alot, and often. It seems to happen everywhere someone puts up a thread for requests (except mine, unsurprisingly). Heaps of requests, with barely a thanks after even one is done, which they which they follow with many more requests. I'm sure you can guess the members who I'm mainly refering to, correct? Two, members who "threadromancy." In other words, a person who revives an old thread, long after it "died." This is mostly annoying to those who are simply viewing the forum (especially members who have been there a long time) and suddenly see an ancient thread with a new post. Very rarely, this is an ok thing, and the thread revives without much fuss, basically it returns to how it was, maybe even better. The worst kind is a thread that was the site of a flame war (or at least a heated argument). Because usually that brings up old ill will in people, especially in the posters in said "war."

5. Stories and critiques. I don't mean any content of stories there for starters, once again going back to negative posting. But what I mean is when a person makes a bit of a "critique" for a writer, but in said critique, they make "suggestions" that basically fulfill their fantasies, not what the writer wants. Sometimes this can also include negative posting as well. Also, as a purely personal feeling, I believe that all critiques and help for others should only come from those who already know how to do it. Like I am one of two video morphers left (though I'm no where NEAR O's level), so I'm rather willing to help out new morphers. I really want to pass on my knowledge (so far, to no avail), to help keep video morphing alive (it's been around for awhile people) in the face of better looking still-picture morphs and 3d stuff. It's not nearly as good, but some of the first "real" muscle growth I ever saw here on the web was the old site, musclemorphs.com (which is long since gone, never to return).

This post was pretty blunt, but this is my SS, so you can still expect more of it of course.

How big, is too big?

That's an important question every MG lover must ask themselves. This is gonna be a thing I do every now and again, just so you all see my general thoughts and opinions on a subject, sometimes dealing with what's in the news, sometimes just something I want to talk about. As you can see, this time, it is the bailout that I'll be talking about.

Personally, this Republican never liked helping out any kind of big business anyways, which is truly ironic compared to like 130 years ago, where in most cases, big business didn't want ANY kind of government interference. Though they sure as hell is hot used the Sherman Antitrust Act to beat down unions, didn't they? Hypocrites.

Well, as I said, never approved of it myself, since a better idea would be to help out the individual's who owed, not just make sure the companies can keep running. What I mean, is that instead of paying for a big company to stay afloat, they should have taken that money (minus pork of course) and used it to pay for what the individual in debt owed to Fannie Mae* or Freddie Mac.* Now then, what this could have done is simple...It would have taken the debt from the people, given it to the government still, but instead of all Americans having to pay for a debt we didn't want, now only the two companies would have to pay for it. And maybe, just maybe, all that debt taken off of individuals, might just help restimulate the economy, instead of having the headlines be nothing but the DOW falling another zillion and a half points each day.

*Nothing personal, but I may live in Missouri, but jeez those are awfully 'hick' names for a couple of companies.

Why am I a goof?

I suppose I've never answered that question before...so here's my answer...

My father....is a drinker, and a fiend...And one night, he goes off crazier than usual...Mommy gets the kitchen knife to defend herself, and he doesn't like that...Not. Now then, being a psych. major, I could go into a lot of psychobabble about why WE like muscle in most cases. I won't put any of you through that, you're welcome. :p

1. Being an ectomorph (as stated below), I simply have it hard to actually gain muscle, pure and simple. So it's hot to me about those who have muscle. Also of course, there is an elemant of jealousy.

2. It shows healthiness to me. Even on a person who is "skinny" but very toned, shows that they can really take care of their bodies. I've never liked actors and musicians in "popular culture" because 99.99% are all super skinny. To me, all that makes them is just a cute face on a very tiny body. That's why I love the "New Celeb Muscle" thread, it helps "undo" some of the damage done.

3. It's different! For the most part, I don't follow the crowd in anything I do, and loving muscle is another thing to add to that list. Most "normal" people (at least here in the U.S. of A.) believe that if a person's muscles are too big ("too big" can be anywhere from the Governator's size, to even a model's size) is gross to them. Also in their minds, they have the stereotype that all the muscle in their head, went out into their body; in short, they're "meatheads" (dumb). This whole thing goes for both sexes on both sides of the scenario, just so you know. It isn't just a "male thing."

4. I'm unlucky. I've never really had a good chance to really feel muscle before. I feel my own, yes, but have never really gotten to feel a giant 16+ plus inch bicep like liquid steel under the skin, or two massive pieces of meat known as pecs, that hang over a guy's abs like the Swiss Alps. In my...freshman year (I think) of college, I dated for a semester a VERY HOT gay football player, for a semester until he graduated. He was damn good in bed...But anyways, he never once let me really feel him up unfortunately. He weighed about...170 pounds, pretty much pure muscle. I don't know why, he simply never did. I believe that if I ever did get a chance to really feel some real man-muscle, I'd be ten times better at writing MGS's.

So, there's my reasons folks. They aren't complicated or well thought out, but that's what they are, and perhaps one day...some of my desires may come true.

The sexiest muscle in the world.

If you haven't read the similar posts on this blog ( http://musclegrowthlovinfemme.blogspot.com/ ) then I suggest you go do so.

Personally, I know about all the "big names" and "celebrities" of muscle. And yes I do agree they're hot in their individual ways and such.....But for me....the muscle I love the most aren't folks like Lee Priest or Ulisses Williams Jr...

No, the people who are hottest to me are these:

Average people with more than average bodies. Why? Because most of the time when we see those people, we think nothing of them, believing them to be more fit (or in some cases, less muscular) than us. Me though, I consider them hotter than average. Even if their faces aren't "chiseled from granite" that's what makes them hotter to me.

So occasionally, when I go muscle-surfing on Youtube, I don't look at the big names and best faces, I look at the more average guys instead.

But despite that, "average muscle" is still just a preference. When it comes right down to it, my motto, "Muscle is muscle, and no matter who you are, it's the hottest thing in the world." In short, if your body is packed with muscle, or you are just starting out, that just gave you a better score in my book. So if you should ever get to know me, you'd better start hittin the weights if you want it to last. :)

The irony of this whole post...I'm an ectomorph.

This is a serious blog...

...so I'll start with a serious post.

I've realized in my three years of being the "Goofball of the MGS" that when I indeed tried to actually make a serious reply to something, it always appeared to be ignored, especially within the last year. I'm not saying I've been totally ignored, simply not be taken as I should be, when I really mean to be. That's the main reason I made this blog, so that people know my real thoughts on a matter.

On a side note: I probably won't make 2 posts in a day and stuff in the future, but since I did just make it, no big deal.

He can be serious?!?!?

That's right, I indeed can be.

Never been much of a big fan of blogs, but recently I've noticed that people aren't taking me as serious as I want sometimes, when I indeed try to be serious.

Now occasionally, I'll post things about muscle and MG (for either gender), but for the most part, on here, you'll see my political views, personal opinions on matters, and so forth. I'm not a "radical" on the various views I have, but what views I do have on things, I take very strictly. That doesn't mean I won't listen to what you say, just don't hark on me merely because I don't agree with you, that's all.

Bye for now folks.
